Easy 3-Ingredient Mixed Berry Ice Cream (No Machine Needed!)

There’s something about summer that makes me crave all things cold, creamy, and fruity. And after a recent visit to Reesor’s Farm Market, where I picked up the freshest strawberries, raspberries, and blueberries, I knew I had to whip up a sweet treat with them.
This mixed berry ice cream is super easy to make—no fancy ice cream maker needed (though I did use my Ninja Creami because I’m a little obsessed). It’s creamy, perfectly sweet, and packed with the bright, juicy flavour of summer berries. Plus, it only uses three ingredients. Yes, really.
Let’s get into it.
Mixed Berry Ice Cream Ingredients:
1 cup 35% whipping/heavy cream
1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
1 cup mixed berries (strawberries, raspberries, blueberries) – blended into a smooth puree
Directions:
Whip the cream
Start by whipping your 35% cream until it becomes thick and fluffy—basically like whipped cream. You can use a hand mixer, stand mixer (or your biceps if you’re feeling ambitious) or even a blender.
Stir in the condensed milk
Once your cream is whipped, gently fold in the condensed milk. This keeps it nice and light but still rich and sweet.
Add the berry puree
Blend your fresh berries into a smooth puree and mix that in. Don’t overmix—we want to keep that fluffy texture.
Freeze and churn
Pour the mixture into your Ninja Creami pint container and freeze for at least 24 hours. Once it’s fully frozen, churn using the Ice Cream setting on the Ninja Creami. That’s it!
No Creami? No worries. Pour the mixture into a freezer-safe container and freeze until firm—about 6–8 hours or overnight. When you’re ready to eat, take it out of the freezer a few minutes ahead of time so it’s scoopable.
Tips for The Best Mixed Berry Ice Cream:
Fresh is best: I used berries from Reesor’s Farm Market in Stouffville—can’t recommend them enough. You can definitely taste the difference when your fruit is local and in-season.
Customize it: Toss in a swirl of honey, crushed graham crackers, or a dash of lemon zest if you want to get fancy.
Double it up: This recipe doubles well. Make one for now, one for later.

This mixed berry ice cream has become a fast fave in our house—especially on those crazy hot days when you just need something cool and comforting. It’s the kind of dessert that feels a little fancy but is secretly ridiculously simple. My kind of recipe.
